Homelike
I’m partly grown up in Borås and many of the pictures in my exhibition “homelike” are about the memories and traces this homelike city has left in me.
As an artist I mostly work with drawings and different printmaking techniques, but I also use materials like paper, wool and plates of aluminium. When I show my work it’s often made like an installation. Together all the pictures in the room creates one image. My choices of motives are concerning the body; the confrontation between the body and its surroundings, the colloquial things, the herbage and that which is crawling around. I take a large interest in time; the time and all memories stored inside us, that is looking for a way out and a form.
